Ireland’s leading electronic music festival, Celtronic 2016, celebrates its sixteenth anniversary this summer returning to the city of Derry from Wednesday June 29th – Sunday July 3rd.

Among the live headliners are Bulgarian maestro, KiNK, Resident Advisor’s No.1 Live Electronic Act in 2015 and ÂME, whose label Innervisions has won the hearts and minds of its global audience by emphasising melody, musicality and emotion. Also playing live will be RIVAL CONSOLES who specialises in a style of warm, earthy electronica built around his technical mastery of synths, guitars and acoustic instruments and has been compared to Erased Tapes labelmate, Nils Frahm. One of the most pioneering musicians in the world, KAITLYN AURELIA SMITH plays Celtronic 2016 following the release of her acclaimed new album Ears.

The festival features some of the best DJs in the world including futuristic techno hero, RØDHAD, US artists THE BLACK MADONNA and MISTER SATURDAY NIGHT, Running Back head honcho, GERD JANSON, festival favourite MOVE D, Kompakt/Magazine artist BARNT and EWAN PEARSON, one of the world’s most trusted authorities on electronic music.

The N.I music scene is well represented wth Ireland’s biggest electronic music stars, PHIL KIERAN and SPACE DIMENSION CONTROLLER and RYAN VAIL and THE CYCLIST play homecoming shows while Belfast act LOR who has received support from the likes of Mano Le Tough and Roman Flügel and Bicep debuts at Celtronic 2016. The festival will also provide performance opportunities for local club nights, record labels and emerging producers/live acts.
