Charlie Bryce Wallace : Hitmaker Fund

Charlie Bryce Wallace is a British songwriter and music producer, born in London and now working from his studio in the South-West. He creates music with a global focus across popular genres, fusing his natural melodic instinct and musicality alongside a talent for strong lyrical concept.

With a rich musical foundation rooted in Jazz and Hip-Hop, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston on a Jazz Piano scholarship, with a further formative year under the mentorship of Amund Bjorkland (Espionage), and Stargate, at LIMPI, Norway.

Achievements to date include cuts and chart success for artists in the USA, UK, Asia, and Europe, including a No.1 on the UK Downloads and Independent Album Charts and a winning song on NBC’s Songland for Ben Platt. His work has garnered sync placements on multiple Netflix shows and other platforms such as the BBC, Channel 4, and Fox.

Charlie will be using his PRS Foundation Hitmaker Fund grant to continue to build his international writing and production career, with planned trips to write and produce for artists in LA, Nashville, Japan and South Korea this year, as well as building new business in these territories. The grant will also be used for London-based studio projects with artists such as Lylo Gold, SALENA, as well as visiting European artists.
