NRG CRU is an underground rave music platform, who’s mission is to give space and opportunities to upcoming artists from underrepresented backgrounds. The funding will be used to host events both in London and further afield, across the north of the UK. A panel talk, and DJ showcase featuring some of the UK’s leading female talent will be held in spring 2025, in conjunction with international womens month. DJ workshops and other networking events will be held by the team. NRG CRU will also continue to push their ‘NRG SYSTEM’ events, giving new artists the chance to play for the first time, try out industry standard equipment, and gain confidence playing infront of a crowd. The team will undergo training, to ensure they are properly equipped to deal with any safeguarding issues they may be presented with in the future. The funding will help make NRG CRU a more sustainable career path for the team members.
