Collage Arts Unheard Voices: Unknown to Known

Collage Arts is dedicated to making the arts accessible to all. For 38 years, the organisation has been providing training, mentoring, resources and support services for aspiring, emerging and established artists, musicians, performers and creative entrepreneurs. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the arts and creative industries, regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender. Our mission is to create access routes and improve diversity and inclusion in the arts. From creative media to performing arts, we are enabling under-represented and creative individuals to grow their skills, unlock their artistic potential, create better futures and opportunities.

We are thrilled that the organisation has been awarded support by the PRS Foundation Open Fund.

‘Unheard Voices’ provides a platform for up to 7 talented music creators to create new, compelling music, and showcase their work. The music creators include Yusuf Ahmed, Tamar Osborn, Idris Rahman and Jihad Darwish. Together they form the band, ‘Unknown to Known’. They will be instrumental in bringing the project to life with their unique collaborative approach to composition and improvisation. They will also be providing mentoring opportunities for 3 emerging early stage career artists or musicians. We take pride in supporting these 4 outstanding artists and are excited to see what the future holds for this talented group.
