CVC are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Wales in recent years. Following their critically acclaimed debut album, and with a new release in the pipeline, they’re well primed to fully make the most of this opportunity, with the support of their experienced team.(Andy Jones, Founder, Director, & Music Programmer, FOCUS Wales).
The band’s Welsh Music Prize shortlisted debut album ‘Get Real’ and accompanying singles had a solid impact on all the relevant radio stations (6Music, Radio X, BBC Wales) and tracks accompanied TV coverage for Tour De France and Wales Men’s football team at the World Cup. The live shows continue to build up a loyal following for the band. They have as a consequence played several high profile UK festivals (Reading/Leeds, Trnsmt, End Of The Road, Great Escape among others) and already some important international festivals and showcases (Bonaroo, Rock en Seine, Eurosonic and Austin City Limits.) Throughout 2022 to 2024 they have played endlessly across the UK with many dates now starting to sell out. Their hometown Cardiff shows are now selling in excess of 1500 tickets. Such is CVCs promise they have generated a stellar team to represent them of highly regarded industry professionals. They have the media support of key tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens and Jo Whiley of whom played their single releases multiple times on various programmes on BBC radio channels.
