Dan Nicholls’ work spans projects in the UK, Copenhagen and Berlin. His music is inspired by prevalent issues in society – experience and identity, the environment, and the use of media for political and social purposes. He is a member of LOOP collective, co-founder of ‘Green Chimneys’ music listings, and a recipient of the inaugural Jerwood Charitable Foundation Jazzlines Fellowship, with which he will compose music, design and build a new instrument and undertake a research trip to West Africa.
