Two events featuring visiting international artists alongside UK-based musicians, one in Margate, one in London.
I am a London-based musician, promoter, and creative producer working at the intersection of Jewish, Mediterranean, and Balkan music. Over the past decade, I’ve built a track record of curating and delivering live events that celebrate diasporic music and intercultural collaboration, ranging from sold-out album launches at major venues to grassroots festival programming.
This project will see me develop my practice as an independent grassroots music promoter through the delivery of two flagship live events under the KlezMargate banner, presented in London and the South East. I will programme, promote, and produce concerts featuring internationally renowned Klezmer artists alongside leading UK-based musicians, building on the success of KlezMargate’s 2024 pilot festival. The project centres on curating artist-led, community-rooted events that connect diasporic Jewish music with contemporary audiences, while strengthening regional cultural ecosystems.
