Across year-round shows, the focus is on building a supportive environment where new and developing acts can perform, connect, and grow. By mixing local artists with touring bands, Loud & Local helps strengthen the local music network and keeps the scene active and visible.
Funded Activity: Loud & Local returns for its 10th year as a multi-stage grassroots festival in Chester, with a clear focus on community access and artist development. Support from PRS Foundation is being used to expand the event — investing in production, booking a wider mix of touring and local acts, and increasing marketing to reach new audiences.
