Short Project Title: DEJA – EP Recording & Debut Headline Show
Project Description: DEJA is grateful to receive this funding to support her upcoming EP and debut headline live show. As DEJA evolves her sounds into a more pop sounding space, this funding will be used to ensure high end production and allow her to realise her vision for the next phase of DEJA. This funding will also be utilised to build a quality production team around her debut headline show at The Lower Third, ensuring an impactful introduction to her live touring career.
Bio: DEJA is a black pop-powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. She’s sassy and bold. So is her music. She places relatable and fiery lyrics on sticky rhythmic Afro-Pop. Lower your sunglasses as DEJA’s songs are the ‘verbal eye-rolls’ you never knew you needed. Her rapid trajectory saw her play Glastonbury Festival in 2025 and amass millions of streams on her viral tracks ‘Sippin’ and Mo Farah. Previously supported by the MOBO Awards, her brave artistry and unapologetic love of womanhood makes her an artist to watch.
