Dennis Wachepa: PPL Momentum Accelerator Tees Valley Industry Professional
Bio: Dennis Wachepa is an independent artist, producer and emerging music curator based in Tees Valley, working to create opportunities for grassroots rap and R&B artists across the North East. Since 2020, Dennis has developed his own creative practice alongside supporting emerging artists through recording sessions, collaborative spaces and community-led music initiatives. As the founder of Pre Game Lobby, Dennis is building a grassroots artist development platform that provides emerging artists with access to studio sessions, creative collaboration, live performance opportunities and audience development. He is also involved in J.U.NE, an independent platform focused on showcasing and connecting North East talent. The PPL Momentum Accelerator award is supporting Dennis to develop and formalise these activities, helping him move from informal, self-funded sessions into a structured and sustainable model for artist development. The support is enabling investment in studio spaces, content creation, mentorship and project development, strengthening his ability to build long-term pathways for emerging artists and contribute to a thriving regional music ecosystem.
