DITZ: The Open Fund for Music Creators

DITZ create forward-thinking noise rock/post-punk which features vast arrays of pedal effects with influences from 80s and 90s post-hardcore and noise rock. The funding from the PRS Foundation allows the band to go into the studio with renown producer Ben Hampson (Nadine Shah’s Mercury Nominated LP ‘Holiday Destination’, Blood Red Shoes, Tigercub) to record their debut album. The album will come out on award winning indie label Alcopop! Records in the Autumn.

Following the release of two EPs, DITZ have received plaudits from some of the UK’s premier new punk bands, IDLES and Slaves, as well as media fuss from Steve Lamaqc, DIY, Loud & Quiet, So Young, The Line Of Best Fit and more.

DITZ have shared stages with JOHN, Drahla, BDRMM, Crows, Spectres, British Sea Power and The Coathangers, whilst performing at festivals across the UK/EU inc. Best Kept Secret, Left Of The Dial, Festival Transfer and Mucho Flow. DITZ also remixed of one of 2020’s breakout bands bdrmm, with their version of ‘If…’ getting a vinyl release alongside remixes by Andy Bell & International Teachers Of Pop via Sonic Cathedral.
