Dom Valentino: Hitmaker Fund

Dom has been producing music since his early teens starting out by making grime beats and tagging along to pirate radio sets with others in his area such as Novelist. To his surprise, this found him lending a beat to Skepta which found its way onto the Mercury Prize winning Konnichiwa album. Dom went on to study Sound Arts and Design degree to study at UAL LCC which gave him a new found interest in sound and experimentation.

Around this time Dom met Steve at Triple Management and he joined their writer/producer roster along side Barney Lister, Bullion & Leo Abrahams. Dom made the most of this time in lockdown by work with different artists remotely and in studio sessions where possible. One of the artists he connected with was Dexter and they wrote 3 songs towards her first full project. Dexter received huge support from Apple and Spotify as well as Radio 1’s new music shows.

Unbeknownst to him the BMG A&R team had been keeping an eye on some of the artists Dom had been working with and they quickly signed him to their publishing roster. Since then Dom has been in session with lots of the most exciting new artists coming through such as Finn Foxell, Deema, Nia Smith, Rio Rainz, Venbee, Pa Salieu, Ashley Singh, Artemus, Willow Kayne etc. Dom has a few regular collaborators such as Ed Thomas, Alex O’shaughnessy, Tom Havelock, Earbuds and Parked Up.
