DSJ: POWER UP industry Professional
Bio: DSJ is the founder of SEPH Group, a UK-based boutique music management and creative consultancy working with talent across the Afro-fusion space. Since 2019, DSJ has been developing talent at the intersection of UK and African music markets. Her managed roster has collectively contributed to over 500 million streams globally, with credits spanning some of the biggest names in global Afrobeats and urban music including Wizkid, Davido, Asake, Mr Eazi, Ayra Starr, Ludacris and OdumoduBlvck. Notable appearances include stages at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Forwards and Love Saves the Day, alongside placements in major film and television productions across the UK and US. At the helm, DSJ brings a sharp, cross-sector perspective to artist development and music business strategy. She is also a Board Director and Trustee at St George’s Bristol, one of the UK’s leading independent music venues, and has spoken at TEDx on leadership and ambition. As a Black, neurodivergent, internationally-born founder navigating an industry that remains structurally exclusive, DSJ is joining POWER UP to deepen her expertise in sync licensing and publishing deal structures, build her network across UK and European markets, and put the infrastructure in place to grow SEPH Group into the UK’s leading management consultancy for the next generation of African and UK creatives.
Concise description of activity: Building SEPH’s business infrastructure, developing expertise in sync licensing and live event production, and expanding my network to accelerate growth across the UK and Europe.
