Thanks to the PRS Foundation and all involved with Beyond Borders, we’re proud to present a new collaborative commission and performance by four artists from three regions of the UK and Ireland, across a diverse musical spectrum at three UK/Irish festivals.
Erland Cooper is an Orcadian Scottish artist, singer and producer. He is the front man of cult, British bands Erland and The Carnival and The Magnetic North, with whom he has released four critically acclaimed albums.
Hannah Mary Peel is an Irish singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger from Northern Ireland. Peel has won a number of awards, including a 2013 Royal Television Society award for best original title music for the show Dates.
Michael Keeney is an orchestral arranger, pianist and composer. A recipient of the prestigious BBC Radio 3 Composers Award he holds a BBC Radio 3 Jazz Award as pianist in the Brian Irvine Ensemble.
Tommy McLaughlin is a composer, guitarist, singer and producer. From his original role as lead artist in Irish group Berkeley, to his role as composer and producer with bands such as Villagers and more recently SOAK, he has produced several No. 1 Irish albums.
