Elder Island: Momentum

Elder Island are an electronic trio currently emerging from the Bristol music scene. Harking from an art and design background, the band both write and produce their characteristic layered works in their converted basement studio – a cavern of collected hardware equipment, the importance of which is evident in Elder Island’s dreamy, left-field psychedelic pop.

With the band’s January 2018 tour selling out all venues, their live performances are proving to be a sought-after experience, and excitement is building as they prepare for their upcoming OMNITONE tour. January audiences will have caught a taster of new material that the trio have been working on in their studio throughout the winter. Since then the band have been working hard alongside Ali Chant in Bristol’s Playpen studio to finalise these pieces. The band are now in the final stages of their much anticipated debut album. There is a growing momentum and energy around the new music, the trio and their collaborators. The release is expected to be unveiled within an enveloping creative project that embodies the dedication and industriousness that marks Elder Island as one to watch.
