Elevation Music: The Open Fund for Organisations
Elevation has remained a pivotal entity in showcasing live musicians. After an exciting couple of years supporting and promoting some of the most prominent talent in the North, including Blazer Boccle, Haze Da Martian and BBC Rap Game UK winner, Graft, Elevation Music is now creating incredible new opportunities to a variety of young music creators. The Elevation Music Project will see new artists collaborate and work under a variety of music industry professionals, producers and qualified facilitators to implement artist development strategies and broaden their skill set to kick start a professional music career.
The project will focus on the development and promotion of 4 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds that specialise in Hip-Hop and R’n’B, and share a keen interest in rapping, singing, song writing and music production. As a result of the project, each music creator release a single, which will include a music video as part of a full promotional campaign, with the opportunity to perform at a live event.
