Eve Harrison: Women Make Music

The vibrant, all female Phoenix Clarinet Quartet are about to take Europe by storm. Already invited to compete in prestigious European competitions and perform at concerts across the UK they have found the repertoire of original clarinet quartet music lacking in quantity and substance. As part of a wider commissioning strategy, they have asked Eve Harrison to write them a challenging piece that does not resort to clichéd wind writing and is musically interesting and suitable for concerts, competitions and educational workshops. Eve is composing a new work for clarinet quartet and vocal sculptor/beat boxer in collaboration with Jason Singh.
