Swedish soul singer with Hip Hop in her blueprint, Fatima is a vocal powerhouse with a beautiful tone who has written and collaborated with the likes of JD Reid, Purist, Larry Heard, Floating Points, Knxwledge, Scoop DeVille, Flako, Dam Funk and Shafiq Husayn. Dubbed “A bonafide star” by Pitchfork and “Best New Artist” by Spin Magazine, her debut album ‘Yellow Memories’ made No.10 in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top 20 RnB albums of the year.
Her sophomore release, ‘And Yet It’s All Love’, released in September 2018, received a nomination for “Album Of the Year” at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards and was named one of Resident Advisor’s Albums of the Year. Recently, Fatima has been touring around the world with her band, providing live vocals for Larry Heard and producing Fatima’s Maple Syrup Waffle Show, monthly on NTS.
