Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage: International Showcase Fund

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage are an exciting British folk duo who sing old and new songs from both sides of the big pond with guitars, dulcimer and dobro. Their love of the duet and for the history of folk song shines through in their intimate live performances, where their harmonies and humour warmly mingle as they huddle round a single vintage microphone. Their recently released debut album, Before The Sun, produced by multi award winning David Travers-Smith in Toronto, Canada has already garnered rave reviews…

★★★★★
“A mix of traditional songs and self-penned masterpieces. They have created an excuisite soundscape, which is the result of passion, precision and unbridled intimacy… An album to venerate.” R2 Magazine

“Spellbinding… Hannah and Ben were born to play and sing together.” fRoots

On the back of an amazing year, where they have toured extensively across the UK, PRS Foundation are helping Hannah & Ben to return to Canada and perform this autumn as one of five international artists showcasing at Folk Music Canada’s FolkNorth Conference. As their ties to the Canadian roots music scene strengthen, this showcase will be an opportunity for Hannah & Ben to share their music with industry personnel from across North America.
