Gallops are wholly original and the most exciting new live act in the UK. They headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds festival 2010, as well as playing the Radio 1 ‘One Big Weekend’, the Big Chill festival and supporting Metronomy and Esben & The Witch nationally. At In The City this year Gallops headlined ohn Kennedy’s ‘Exposure’ night for XFM.

Their debut EP was released on Holy Roar/Blood & Biscuits to significant acclaim, Radio 1 plays from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw and Bethyn Elfyn as well as XFM play from John Kennedy and Eddy Temple-Morris. Key tastemaking print and online media such as NME.COM, Drwoned In Sound, Loud & Quiet, Dazed and Line Of Best Fit all wrote strong reviews. The band have toured Europe supporting Minnaars.
