Generator (TDN 2025)

Organisation Biog: Generator is the North East’s leading talent development agency, proudly supporting diverse music creators for over 30 years. We champion regional voices with national impact, from grassroots to global stages, through tailored artist support, career development, and powerful industry partnerships with EMI North, Warner Music, BBC Introducing and more. Our programmes span songwriting camps, international showcases, label deals, and vital music business skills. A Keychange signatory and accessibility advocate, Generator is committed to making the music industry inclusive, sustainable, and thriving for all. Based in Newcastle, we are a hub of creativity, opportunity, and bold Northern ambition.

Short Project Title: Generator: The Tipping Point – nurturing diverse pathways for music creators across the North to connect, create, and grow sustainably.

Program Description: The 2025 Tipping Point programme will be Generator’s largest creative development scheme to date, spanning the North from Northumberland to Liverpool. A rounded and accessible programme of support, enrichment, and development, for early-career music creators of all identities and backgrounds across the North East of England and beyond. Our programme reaches young people at the outset of their careers and provides routes into further creative opportunities from workshops to conferences, from songwriting bootcamps to showcases, and from release support to label deals.
