Georgia Ruth: PPL Momentum Music Fund
Short Project Title: Georgia Ruth – making and marketing a brand new album
Bio: Georgia Ruth is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Aberystwyth in Mid Wales. Since winning the Welsh Music Prize for her debut album – Week of Pines – in 2013, Georgia has continued to make genre-pushing music, bringing together an eclectic range of influences and collaborators. She is currently working on her fifth studio album, marking a new chapter in her career. Supported by the PPL Momentum fund, Georgia and her band will return to Sain studios in North Wales (where she recorded her last record, Cool Head) to make Uncanny Valley, an ambitious and bilingual record which will explore her life as a mother of three.
