Hackensack is a monthly event held on the first Thursday of each month at Cafe Jazz on St. Mary’s Street, Cardiff. The focus is on the NEW and the FRESH and operates mainly, but not exclusively within the realm of jazz and improvised music. It is a home-grown venture, set up in October 2012 to give young musicians a platform to play original music in a double-bill night of varied sets. £5 entry.
