Daju means POSITIVE. Because we’re POSITIVE about making impactful change through creative cultural consultancy.
We take a unique view on curation, programming, and development across a range of sectors. And our dynamic team and vast network of relationships ensure your vision of inclusivity is understood and delivered.
Daju was founded in 2020 by Hannah Shogbola, a D&I and Artist Development Specialist with over a decade of Agency, Management, and Consultancy experience. In our first six months, we consulted and produced key projects for companies like SXSW, Afropunk, British Underground, and more.
With a core focus on D&I, DAJU is building an ever-growing community that provides coaching, workshops, inspirational talks, team-building and diversity training. We’re committed to making the music & the arts industry safe, inclusive and rewarding for everyone.
Hannah Shogbola has works in the Live Music industry representing over 25 clients from Hak Baker to Jaguar to Fredwave to Helena Star and many more!
Hannah Shogbola is one of the only Black female agents in the UK. She’s also one of the few people to sell out Brixton Academy, Roundhouse and The Forum, which she did when she was under-30!
She’s appeared on panels and boards from The Royal Albert Hall to Roundhouse and worked with The British Council on festival curation at The Southbank.
With an abundance of experience and a burning desire to make a difference, Hannah is uniquely equipped to address the broad range of challenges that beset the live music sector.
“POWER UP has empowered me to believe in progression – Competence not confidence! – I am SO excited to work creatively and positively through all projects, with a key focus on inclusion.” Hannah Shogbola
