Harmonic is Birmingham’s cutting edge jazz festival featuring some of the finest creative jazz musicians from the city and beyond promoted by the musicians of Cobweb Collective.  The festival aims to create as much new music as possible as well as offer performances by new groups and ensembles.  This year we are taking over the wonderful MAC in Cannon Hill Park as well as using Cobweb Collective’s spiritual home, The Yardbird Jazz Club.

As well as featuring the best of the local creative jazz scene we are very pleased to be playing host to two very special guest artists.  Norwegian trumpeter Arve Henriksen will be working with Birmingham based sound artists Dreams Of Tall Buildings on a very special collaboration; we’ll also be featuring a performance from Anglo-Norwegian duo Food.  Other artists include Percy Pursglove’s Enchanted Heart, Mike Hurley’s Tasting Notes, Mike Fletcher, Husk, Splice, Noose, Jonathan Silk Quartet, Elda, Greyish Quartet and more.
