Hilit Kolet: PPL Momentum Music Fund
Short Project Title: Pattern Language
Bio: London-based producer and DJ Hilit Kolet has built an international reputation through releases on labels including Rekids, Defected, Bush, Snatch! and COD3 QR, alongside performances at fabric, KOKO, Printworks, The Warehouse Project, Amnesia Ibiza and Watergate Berlin. Her productions have received support from BBC Radio 1, with tracks championed by artists including Carl Cox, Honey Dijon, Laurent Garnier and Peggy Gou.
With support from the PRS Foundation’s PPL Momentum Music Fund, Hilit is creating Pattern Language, a six-track collaborative EP exploring the relationship between electronic music and live rhythm. Bringing together six drummers and percussionists from diverse musical backgrounds, the project combines human performance with club-focused production to create a distinctive new body of work. The funding will support collaboration fees, recording, mixing, mastering, visual content, press and radio promotion, helping bring the project to audiences through a professional release campaign and live showcase performances.
