HMS Morris: PPL Momentum Accelerator Wales
HMS Morris are a little gang of Welsh people from all around the country who like to come together to serve you high energy alternative performances drawing on lots of the old traditions, especially pop and rock and psych. Also many people think there’s a good dose of anime in there. They generally put on a bit of a show – or if space/time is tight, at least provide a focal point for cultural communion, because that’s the point of gigs after all.
On the recording front they’ve released 2 albums and 1 EP, but have been writing new tunes for a while so it’s high time that they get them tracked and mixed and mastered and ushered them out into the world. The PPL Momentum Accelerator Fund is basically allowing them to do that in the way they would want to, which is great! Should be a lot of fun x
