Short Project Title : IRKED: DEBUT ALBUM

Biog: IRKED are a band from the North East, making snotty, noisy, punk music. After a year gigging together, but ahead of releasing their debut EP, IRKED were named BBC Introducing ‘Ones To Watch’ in 2024 and invited to perform a 6music live session for Marc Riley and Gideon Coe. Their self-titled debut (Wrong Speed Records) received support from Radio1, 6music, Maximum RocknRoll, Bandcamp and other good eggs, selling out of physical copies within 48hours. Following a songwriting residency supported by The Glasshouse ICM and an EP re-press, they’re now keen to record an album; with funding support from PRSF Foundation.
