Jamie Adams: Early Career Promoter Fund

Carmina is a London-based collective founded by DJ and producer Incog (Jamie Adams), with a focus on underground electronic music and a track record of putting on events at small, local grassroots music venues. Previous guests include Nathan Pinder, Mia Lily and Ian DPM. Carmina is evolving from intimate gatherings in non-traditional venues and is ready to translate this experience to dedicated club spaces, booking emerging and established artists, and having a wider-reaching impact on the local & regional music scene. The fund will support plans to programme larger-scale events in different nightclubs across London, as well as hosting open deck nights and collaborating with other collectives. A focus on addressing underrepresentation will deepen Carmina’s cultural impact and will also provide invaluable platforms for emerging artists to connect with wider audiences. The grant will also support Jamie’s professional development, funding industry workshops and mentoring opportunities to help develop key skills and long-term partnerships to support a sustainable career within the music scene.

Concise Project Description: Promoting multiple events in a combination of local, grassroots venues and dedicated club spaces across London with a blend of local, up-and-coming, and established artists.
