Janelle Mitchell: POWER UP Industry Professional
Bio: Janelle Mitchell is an experienced and educated music industry professional, and has worked within the music industry for nine years. Starting out as a community radio presenter, she transitioned into becoming a DJ, performing under the moniker, Jay Dolce, for five years. During this time, she also entered into the field of music distribution, working as an Artist Relations Manager for Believe and, currently, as a Marketing Strategy Manager for FUGA. In addition to this, she has graduated with an MA in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster, after receiving the Richard Antwi scholarship, and is also an alumni of the Keychange Talent Leadership Programme. She was also recently nominated for ‘Best Artist and Label Relations’ at the Young Music Boss awards.
