Jay Weathers: POWER UP Music Creator

Short Bio: Jay Weathers is a multi-platinum music producer, songwriter and creative director from Hackney, East London. Known for his genre-blending style and distinctive musicality, he has worked across Afrobeats, R&B, Rap, Pop, cross-cultural contemporary music and Indie. His production credits include work with global artists such as Stormzy, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran, J. Cole, Mabel, WSTRN, Rudimental and Not3s, contributing to over 1 billion streams and multiple Platinum-certified releases. Highlights include producing on Stormzy’s 3× Platinum single “Own It”, Not3s’ 2× Platinum hit “My Lover”, and co-producing “Thanks” by Burna Boy ft. J. Cole for the UK No.1 album “I Told Them…”, which received a Grammy nomination. His work also features on critically acclaimed projects including Stormy’s “Heavy Is The Head” and Kojey Radical’s “Reason To Smile”, nominated for BRIT and Mercury Prize awards respectively. He received a Music Producers Guild (MPG) nomination for Best Single in 2021. Jay continues to work independently across high-level projects in the UK and internationally. His focus is on innovation, artist development, and building long-term creative legacies across genres and borders.
