Dinosaur Live Showcase at Jazzahead! 2016 - Bremen, Germany

I am a trumpet player and composer based in London specializing in improvised music and contemporary jazz. I am currently one of the BBC‘s New Generation Artists where I have lots of exciting broadcast, performance and writing opportunities to look forward to over the next couple of years. My band Dinosaur, featuring Elliot Galvin, Conor Chaplin and Corrie Dick, has been playing together for over 5 years and is a huge part of my life as a performer and composer. The music takes influence from folk music, rock and minimalism delivered with a sense of groove, memorable melodies and a healthy dose of abandon. Having toured around the UK and played at many of the UK’s major jazz festivals we are now starting to play more regularly in Europe.

Having a showcase at Jazzahead! in Bremen this year is a fantastic opportunity for us to maintain momentum as a band and continue to increase our activity and presence outside of the British Isles.
