Jen Roberts : Early Career Promoter Fund

Biog: I founded and run the legendary music night, Golden Slippers, known for hosting artists like Sam Smith, Michael Kiwanuka, Nadine Shah, Paris Paloma, Birdy, Laura Mvula, Aurora, and many more. Funding from the Early Career Development Promoter Fund will enable me to increase the capacity of Golden Slippers with five live music events planned in new, public-facing venues – three in London and two in Liverpool. Each carefully curated and hosted night will showcase 2 emerging artists with support from higher-profile peers.

Concise Project Description: Grow the capacity of events with an initial move into 2 new larger venues in London (3 events) and Liverpool (2 events).
