Johnny Madden: The Hitmaker Fund

Johnny Madden will use his Hitmaker grant to continue to grow as a songwriter and producer. He will be able to book more sessions outside of Scotland and the UK to collaborate with new artists from different territories, as well as purchase new equipment to take his productions to the next level.

He is a highly sought after songwriter and producer who has became a trailblazer within the Scottish music scene. Johnny’s work is known for its infectious melodies and earworm choruses and has gained praise from the likes of Jack Saunders, Zane Lowe, Annie Mac & Steve Lamacq across radio. He has had sync placements on FOX, Champions League & Europa League (BT Sport), Valentino, Brassic (Sky One), The Syndicate (BBC), Tattoo Fixers (E4) & Made In Chelsea (E4) as well as Spotify support on New Music Friday, The Rock List, All New Rock, Walk Like A Badass, The Indie List, Hot New Bands, The Punk List playlists plus many more. He has worked with bands such as Spyres (LAB), Gallus (Marshall Records), Uninvited (LAB), Voodoos, Joshua Grant (Ditto Music / Opulous), Cameron Hayes and Dillon Squire (LAB / 7 West).
