Joy Warmann: POWER UP Music Industry Professional
Bio: DJ Ace is an award-winning broadcaster, DJ, curator and founder of Everything RnB, a platform dedicated to championing R&B culture across radio, live events, content and international showcases. A trusted voice in Black music for over two decades, Ace spent more than 20 years at BBC Radio 1Xtra before joining the KISS network, where he hosts the flagship KISS R&B Show and Kisstory R&B Breakfast Show. Across his career, he has become widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading R&B ambassadors, using his platforms to showcase and support hundreds of artists through radio, live shows and cultural programming. Through Everything RnB, Ace has produced sold-out shows, curated festival stages and created international opportunities for UK R&B talent, including showcasing over 30 artists on international stages through activations such as SXSW in Austin. His work connects artists, audiences and industry partners while helping to build stronger infrastructure and visibility around UK R&B. Career highlights include performing at the MOBO Awards, receiving the Freedom of the City of London, and continuing to develop Everything RnB as a home for R&B discovery, live experiences and cultural storytelling. Through POWER UP, Ace will further develop Everything RnB’s infrastructure, content and live activity, creating more opportunities for Black music creators, strengthening the UK R&B community and building a sustainable platform for the genre’s future.
