Julian Gill PKA Esco Williams: POWER UP Industry Professionals
Julian Gill, known professionally as Esco Williams, is a versatile and dynamic force in the music industry with over 20 years of experience. His career began as a touring backing singer and contributor to Sense of Sound, eventually leading to his recognition as an artist under the alias Esco Williams, where he won the 2012 MOBO Unsung Award.
Julian’s multifaceted talents are best exemplified through his co-management, founding, and direction of MiC LOWRY. Over 11 years, he served as a key songwriter, vocal producer, and creative director, guiding the group to significant achievements. Collaborating with Decca Records (UK), Polydor Records (UK), and Island Records (NYC), MiC LOWRY released two EPs and multiple singles, completed four UK and Europe headline tours, and supported renowned acts like Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys, and Boyz II Men.
His leadership extended to managing operations at the independent distribution company 3tone Music, where he set new standards before founding his own specialist platform, BLA.C Music Group, in 2024. This new venture focuses on promoting Black music and marks an exciting chapter in Julian’s career.
