Soprano Juliet Fraser has a repertoire dominated by the music from either end of the canon. As a soloist she has appeared with many of the UK’s leading contemporary music ensembles, and she is also principal soprano and co-founder of EXAUDI. An award from the PRS for Music Foundation is supporting two solo projects in 2013: an Aldeburgh Residency to develop and document her on-going work on Aperghis’ Récitations; and a programme of experimental song with pianist Mark Knoop, featuring works by Ives, Kagel, Crane and a newly-commissioned cycle by Matthew Shlomowitz, with performances in Southampton and London.
