‘Chapter 5 EP Recording’ Kianja is a London-born singer, songwriter and composer whose voice-led sound sits at the intersection of Soul, Jazz, Reggae and contemporary R&B.
Rooted in her Jamaican lineage and shaped by Jazz training, her music blends warmth, elegance and emotional clarity with grit and grounded truth-telling – a duality she describes as Silk & Stone. Known for her stripped-back arrangements and powerful storytelling, Kianja has collaborated with artists including Craig David, Bastille, Wesley Joseph and Jordan Rakei, and received BBC Radio Support, including BBC1Xtra Track of the Week. Her PRS Foundation supported project continues her exploration of voice, lineage and song-led expression.
