KYRA: Women Make Music

2 part EP exploring personal growth from a female perspective

Following on from her self released debut EP ‘Xanadu’ in 2020, West London Alternative Soul artist Kyra’s unorthodox presence and gripping releases have seen this rising star deservedly gain well acclaimed achievements including BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova selecting her as one of her EP Top 5, and being hand picked as one of BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw’s Songs of the Week.

Kyra’s ethos behind the 2-part EP is centred on her experiences of growth and how she navigates the world around her, with themes centering around motherhood, body image and self acceptance. The timely cultural conversation in this body of work aims to propel female music creators to the forefront.

Kyra hopes by enlisting female talent in the creation of the project, it will inspire existing creators and the next generation, encouraging a shift within the industry for men and women to seek out more diverse talent for their own projects.
