LAKY: Women Make Music
Heartfelt lyrics, soaring vocals, on stage banter and a great hat collection are the key ingredients that make new artist LAKY the one to watch. Her songs tackle subjects such as mental health, sexuality, love, and a ‘classic heartbreak number thrown in there for good measure’. However, it is LAKY’s live shows that really draw you in, and will have you belly laughing at her interaction with the audience between songs. She recently supported Rhys Lewis and having signed with booking agency CAA, was set to play Barn On The Farm and Hit The North 2020.
LAKY is “buzzing’” to finally release what she’s been working on and “chuffed” to be joining the Women Make Music ranks. She will be using the funding to assist two single releases, working alongside musical genius’ such as Jacob Attwooll, Dawbell PR and Underplay.
