Laura Evans, second studio album

Laura Evans is a singer/songwriter from Aberdare, South Wales, whose debut album “State of Mind” has amassed over 2.5 million streams. The album received huge support from Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Wales, and has also been featured on key editorial playlists such as Spotify’s Nu Blue playlist, Best Blues songs of 2022 and Apple Music’s Today’s Country playlist. Laura’s music has captured the attention of fans and critics alike with all of her last 8 singles being A listed on Radio Wales and all reaching No.1 on the UK iTunes Blues Chart. Her crossover appeal continues to grow, with her latest single, “What I’m Made Of,” landing on the BBC Radio 2 daytime playlist. Laura’s live performances in 2023 and 2024 have further showcased her talent, including sold-out UK shows supporting blues legend Walter Trout and her own 8-date European headline tour in November. Classic Rock Magazine has compared her to Stevie Nicks, embracing notes of Americana and bluesy rock and roll. The PPL Momentum fund will be instrumental in the recording and promotion of Laura’s second album, set for release in Autumn 2025. The funding will cover studio recording costs, producer fees, session musicians, and marketing and promotion, enabling her to continue building on her already impressive career trajectory.
