In July 2014, Jurd recorded her second album entitled HUMAN SPIRIT. The music explores the realms of folk-song, rocky grooves and jazz improvisation and features the ferocious talents of Lauren Kinsella – vocals, Laura Jurd – trumpet, Chris Batchelor – trumpet, Colm O’Hara – trombone, Alex Roth – guitar, Mick foster – bass sax and Corrie Dick – drums. The record is being released on Chaos Collective and the funding will also cover the costs of manufacturing the record which will be available for purchase in January 2015 – in record stores, online and at album tour dates.
