Lavengro 6 x Singles Release Campaign

Lavengro are a four piece pop indie band from Derry City, N.Ireland who are all about making catchy bangers and sad songs. The songs, which get played on Irish radio a lot (including a spin on BBC Radio 1 of the track Anchors’) have been described as ‘punchy & energetic’, and having ‘more synth / guitar hooks than a fisherman’s tacklebox’.

Their latest single ‘Falling’ has been made ‘Select Irish Track’ across many radio stations including Dublins FM104 & Limerick’s Live 95 . The band have played many Irish festivals (such as Electric Picnic, Sea Sessions) and have toured UK & Ireland before the pandemic brought all their Live plans to a halt.

The band have been making the best of a bad situation by focusing more time on writing and releasing new music, which the PRS Foundation Grant will be supporting. Because of this award, they can now afford to record and produce the best quality tracks, market them, and showcase them to audiences with live performances.

They look forward to creating new music and making new fans this year, thanks to PRS Foundation for the belief and support in their project.
