Lucia & The Best Boys supporting The Last Dinner Party

Lucia has already solidified herself as one of Scotland’s most exciting new artists. Her captivating persona and sharp, intellectual songwriting have become a force to be reckoned with.

Emerging from Glasgow’s underground punk scene, Lucia & the Best Boys’ debut EPs, Cheap Talk, Eternity, and The State of Things, quickly garnered praise from NME, DIY, and Clash. Their music has enjoyed multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6, along with UK tours supporting Dream Wife and Wolf Alice.

In 2023, Lucia released her debut album, Burning Castles, featuring singles “When You Dress Up” and “So Sweet I Could Die.” These tracks, along with sold-out headline performances at London’s Omeara and Glasgow’s SWG3 Warehouse, have been praised by critics and tastemakers alike. Publications such as Sunday Times Culture, i-D, and Dork have lauded her work, and Elton John even championed Lucia on his Apple Music “Rocket Hour” show.

Lucia’s Scottish roots remain a key part of her identity throughout Burning Castles. Named after a huge tumbledown castle behind her childhood home, the album’s artwork was shot on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Lucia and The Best Boys are currently in the throws of recording their second album, set for release in 2025.
