Lucy Gooch Debut Album
Lucy Gooch makes vocal-centric music. Her debut EP ‘Rushing’ was evidence of an unusually developed aesthetic vision, one that joins the atmospheric quality of ambient music with the structure of choral composition and the seeming effortlessness of pop. Gaining plaudits from NPR to Pitchfork, her follow-up EP ‘Rain’s Break’ was picked up by the New York Times and The Guardian. The PPL Momentum Fund will allow Lucy to spend time in the studio with a producer to flesh out her arrangements, and to enable the music to make a step up from her previous EPs which were recorded at home.
