Luke RV : PPL Momentum Music Fund

My debut full-length studio recorded album (Name TBC)

Luke RV, rapper and singer/songwriter from Neath Port Talbot in South Wales, is rapidly making a name for himself in the UK music scene. With a unique blend of introspective lyrics, catchy hooks, and an authentic sound that resonates deeply with his listeners, Luke’s music reflects both his personal journey and broader societal themes.

Growing up in the heart of South Wales, he seamlessly fuses genres to create a sound that is both fresh and familiar. His music is characterised by its raw honesty, exploring themes of mental health, personal growth, and the highs and lows of everyday life.

In addition to his solo work, Luke RV has collaborated with a range of artists, from Murkage Dave and KeepVibesNear to Manga Saint Hilaire and Curitsy, further showcasing his versatility and broad appeal. His live performances are a testament to his charisma and talent. His energetic stage presence and ability to connect with audiences have made him a sought-after act at festivals such as Boomtown and The Great Escape in recent years, as well as supporting incredible artists such as Casisdead, Jelani Blackman and Bawo on his recent ‘Legitimate Cause’ Tour.

The Fund will allow Luke RV to create his debut, full-length studio album, along with his first UK Tour, with a fully fleshed out release plan to roll it out properly. After releasing 6 projects in as many years, with numerous singles and music videos, the funding will allow Luke to create a concise and conceptual album without added £pressure.
