Maius Mollis: Women Make Music
Maius Mollis is a singer-songwriter based in North Shields. Known to her friends as Maisie, her solo project began Spring 2022 where she released her debut single with Both Sides Records. This set into motion a momentum that has been building ever since with extensive support from BBC Introducing NE, local talent development Generator, and The Glass House ICM. And with the release of her EP ‘Waves’, a hugely successful hometown headliner show at The Cluny, and support slots for Tiny Umbrellas and Nati she shows no signs of slowing down.
Maius Mollis 2024 EP
Maius Mollis shares plans to collaborate with two time Brit Award winning, Mercury Prize nominated producer Thom Lewis (aka Bramwelle Bronte) on her 2024 EP release. Thom has extensive experience in the industry, including producing two silver platinum Sam Fender albums, as well as tracks by Little Comets and The Unthanks. A mutual appreciation for the North East music scene and heartfelt story telling brought this pairing together, and the EP will be a true passion project. This exciting next step brings a new era of growth and possibility for Maius Mollis, and is one which will continue to nurture and hone her innate ability to communicate dualities of love, loss, and introspection through her music.
