Project Description: Mallavora will stage immersive live experiences to tour and promote their debut album What If Better Never Comes?, merging film screening, gallery exhibition and live performance with bespoke set design at accessible venues across the UK. This innovative touring model blends live music, exhibition and performance art, delivering a new conceptual world to audiences nationwide.
Bio: Mallavora are a multi-faceted band from Bristol whose sound blends prog-tinged alt.metal with vocalist Jessica Douek’s Jewish-Middle Eastern roots, creating an intoxicatingly crushing mix that sits firmly in its complexity. Their debut album What If Better Never Comes? was released 27th March 2026 via Church Road Records, supported by Help Musicians’ Next Level Award. It has already surpassed 250,000 streams, earning critical acclaim from Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. BBC News covered their album release show; BBC Radio 1 has offered consistent support; and the album secured Spotify editorial playlisting, including a playlist cover. Festival appearances include Download, Boomtown and 2000Trees.
