Manchester Jazz Festival (mjf) is an annual summer celebration of innovative new music, year-round talent development programmes and commissions. Led by a small, passionate team, mjf presents groundbreaking international collaborations, provides supportive, inspiring environments for northern artists, and champions the diversity of jazz, bringing it to new and curious audiences. Taking place across a series of indoor and outdoor locations across the city, from its grass roots venues to public squares, mjf is the beating heart of new jazz: a place for artists to find themselves and for audiences to lose themselves.
