Marina Josephina: PPL Momentum Accelerator Tees Fund
Project Title: Marina Josephina
Bio: BBC Introducing North East One To Watch, Marina Josephina, is a soulful emerging artist from Stockton-on-Tees, known for her rich vocals, honest songwriting, and charismatic performances.
With support from the PPL Momentum Accelerator (Tees Valley), Marina is now able to begin recording her debut EP – a four-track project that will define her artistic identity and introduce her sound to a national audience. The EP will capture the warmth and energy of Marina’s live performances while delivering a polished, radio-ready finish.
This grant enables a fully professional release that Marina could not self-fund, supporting production, mixing, and mastering. It also allows her to expand her creative team and grow her industry network.
Regionally, the EP will strengthen Marina’s connection with local industry champions. Nationally, it positions her as a fully developed artist ready for wider recognition in the UK soul scene – confidently pitching to festivals, press, DSPs, radio, and A&Rs
